Arrival and Departure
To ensure child safety, all students must be escorted to the classroom by an authorized adult, signed in and out daily, and have any changes in pick-up routine communicated in writing to the head teacher.
Arrival
A smooth transition at drop-off sets the tone for a successful day of learning.
- Escort & Entry: All children must be escorted into the classroom by a parent or authorized adult.
- Check-In: Parents are required to sign their child in upon arrival.
- Healthy Transitions: Children should wash their hands immediately upon entering to reduce germs and help them transition into the classroom environment.
- Daily Communication: Please notify teachers both verbally and in writing regarding any special instructions for the day, such as health concerns or early pick-up.
Departure
Our departure policies are designed to maintain a secure environment until every child is home.
- Authorized Pick-Up: Only adults listed on your Parent Consent and Emergency Information Form are permitted to pick up your child.
- Changes in Routine: If someone other than the regular person is picking up your child, you must provide written notice via a note or the communication app for our records.
- Final Check-Out: Parents must sign their child out and personally notify the head teacher before leaving the premises.
- Supervision & Environment: Once signed out, parents are responsible for supervising their children. We also ask that older siblings remain mindful and non-disruptive when entering the school.
